How can your Niaouli essential oil be useful in your first aid kit at home! There is nothing more satisfying than having confidence in your natural tools and knowing which one to use for which ailments!
Of course, sometimes we need our healthcare specialists in certain situations, and we are lucky to have them! But too often, we have pushed or abandoned the responsibility of our health into someone else's hands, forgetting that we have the most power!
Learning to use essential oils in your home is one way in which we have power over our health, and our mission is to help families gain confidence in their use!
The doTERRA Niaouli essential oil is CPTG certified and comes from Madagascar where Niaouli grows abundantly and easily despite the droughts or heavy rains it may face. This, among other things, makes its chemical profile excellent in this part of the world!
The fact that the tree grows and develops without too much need for attention allows growers to have additional income while working on their main harvest. Another beautiful difference that you contribute to as a doTERRA customer.
Right now, if you have Niaouli in your kit, it is because you were lucky enough to get it when it was available, since it is not possible to purchase it in the regular collection.
Niaouli essential oil can be used topically, aromatically, and diluted (may be irritating, so it's recommended to dilute in a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil before applying to the skin).
*It is not meant for internal consumption.
Its main properties are:
Anti-infectious
Expectorant
Immune-stimulating
Beneficial for the skin as well
Here are some ideas for using your Niaouli essential oil:
Add 1 drop to your facial cleanser to deeply cleanse the skin and reduce the appearance of blemishes.
When you have congested airways, try 2-3 drops in a bowl of hot water and cover your head with a towel to make a steam bath for a maximum of 5 minutes.
When massaging, dilute well in the lungs and bronchi when the need for respiratory support is present.
At the first tingling sensation on the lip that announces a possible contagious blemish, apply diluted Niaouli essential oil (50%) in a carrier oil and repeat several times a day.
A few drops in a spray bottle with some castile soap and distilled water will make an excellent disinfectant cleaner for surfaces.
Finally, I leave you with some additional ideas for using your Niaouli essential oil at home.
*I recommend doTERRA essential oils for their high CPTG certification. It is important to remember that not all qualities of essential oils are equal. It is important to dilute in a larger amount of carrier oil for children and never apply to the eyes, nose, or ears. No essential oils internally for children under 6 years old. Ask your consultant for advice on application to children.
