Spot on celery seed essential oil!

Celery seed essential oil is not well-known enough! In fact, you might have it in your collection without knowing exactly how to use it!

I invite you to take a moment to educate yourself about its properties because, who knows, it might be useful to support a health concern for yourself or someone you love, and you can share this knowledge!

Celery seed essential oil comes from India. Celery farming requires special attention as celery has low tolerance to heat, cold, and drought. That's why doTERRA has chosen to partner with farmers in India, where the plant can grow and thrive in optimal conditions.

It takes about 66 pounds of celery seeds to produce a 15ml bottle of essential oil! Let's be honest; these little bottles are filled with purity and power! Just think about it... You have 66 pounds of celery seeds in your bottle?! Wow! It's impressive how potent it is and how a few drops go a long way! Additionally, doTERRA's essential oil can be used AROMATICALLY, TOPICALLY, and INTERNALLY. You can determine which method of use suits you best according to your needs.

You've probably heard about the benefits of celery juice and its detoxifying properties, right? Celery seed essential oil has similar benefits to celery juice. But did you know that conventionally grown celery is one of the most pesticide-sprayed vegetables? It has been found with more than 19 different pesticides, significantly exceeding established government standards. No, thank you! It's a good idea to consider buying organic celery at the grocery store and consume our celery seed essential oil, which is meticulously tested to be PESTICIDE-FREE.

So, what are its health properties?

According to The Essential Life, 7th edition, p. 122:

  • Diuretic (Increases urine quantity).

  • Detoxifying (Aids in eliminating toxins from the body).

  • Digestive stimulant (Supports a good digestive process).

  • Hypertensive (Increases blood pressure).

  • Purifying (Sanitizing virtues).

Internally, it provides a beautiful dose of antioxidants for the cells of our bodies because it is composed of 55% to 75% limonene. Why do we love antioxidants? The role of antioxidants found in celery seed essential oil is to neutralize free radicals. These antioxidants can act by preventing the formation of free radicals or by neutralizing them directly.

Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to the aging process and certain diseases. Amazing, isn't it?

But there's even more!

Celery seed essential oil has its unique and powerful touch. It is reputed to support the digestive and urinary systems in a special way. Pay close attention; this could be useful for you one day! You will be happy to pull out your bottle of essential oil for those moments!

Esophagus

Due to its richness in limonene and linalool, it supports a healthy level of stomach acid. If you have challenges with acid reflux in the esophagus, here's a protocol suggested by the doTERRA medical team for relief. Add 2-3 drops of your essential oil to your morning or evening beverage. A smoothie or a glass of water, for example.

Stomach

When taken internally, it enhances the body's natural defenses, as well as the mucosa and tissues of the stomach. This means ensuring that the stomach remains in good working condition, with a mucosa (the internal protective layer of the stomach) and tissues (the different layers of the stomach) that are strong and in good condition. Phew! Wow! To support the protective layers of your stomach, a protocol suggested by doTERRA is to put 2-3 drops of celery seed oil in a vegetable capsule and take it with water morning and night! You can also combine it with equal amounts of citrus or spice oils to increase its benefits.

Urinary tract

Celery seed essential oil is reputed for its benefits to the urinary tract. Thanks to its properties, it can contribute to maintaining the balance and health of the urinary system. It can promote the proper functioning of the urinary pathways by supporting the health of associated organs, such as the kidneys and bladder. This could help maintain optimal urinary function and prevent some discomfort related to the urinary system. So, if there is discomfort (I remind you that you are ultimately responsible for your health, and consultation is important if needed), I share the protocols that were shared with us during the doTERRA convention in 2019: Combine an equal amount of celery seed essential oil and juniper berry essential oil in an empty 15 ml bottle (You can reuse an old and sterilized bottle), then add 1-3 drops of your mixture into a vegetable capsule and take as needed. You could do the same with an equal amount of celery seed EO and cinnamon bark EO.

Douce détox

A simple way is to make your detox and consume it for a few consecutive days on a daily basis to give your body a little help in eliminating toxins.

And emotionally?

On an emotional level, we can think of celery seed essential oil as an ally when we feel surrounded by emotional toxicity. This heaviness that we can feel in bad company or with repeated exposure to traditional media that emphasize bad news, tragedies, and sensationalism, for example. It can accompany you during your emotional detoxification process as much as physical detoxification to collaborate in restoring internal balance and feeling aligned again.

How?

Take the time to smell the bottle, diffuse it, or put 1 drop in your hand and inhale it for a few seconds. You can also apply it to the soles of your feet and/or take 1-2 drops in a glass of water internally. To this, you can continue the process of releasing your emotions by writing in your journal, praying, and meditating on what you need to let go.

I hope, in conclusion, that you also leave with a better understanding of this precious tool that nature leaves us. From now on, you will not see your bottle of celery seed oil in the same way, I am sure!

Happy discovery!
