Everything on Cheer's blend!

Your bottle of sunshine that you'll want to take with you everywhere!

Cheer is a blend of essential oils:

  • Wild Orange Peel

  • Clove Bud

  • Star Anise

  • Lemon Myrtle

  • Nutmeg

  • Vanilla Bean Extract

  • Ginger Rhizome

  • Cinnamon Bark

  • Zdravetz Herb

Can you imagine the aroma just by reading the essential oils it contains? A blend of spices and citrus specifically chosen for their warm and inviting nature. The chemical design of doTERRA Cheer includes aldehydes and monoterpenes, which are known to promote uplifting feelings of positivity. Yes, essential oils have a direct impact on our limbic brain, which is the seat of emotions. They act as messengers that carry a specific message according to each one's chemical composition!

This synergy was formulated as part of the doTERRA Emotional Aromatherapy system. It is available in a 10 ml roller bottle, already diluted in fractionated coconut oil and ready to use topically, and it is also available in a 5 ml bottle that you can diffuse or dilute yourself.

How can we make the most of our precious Cheer bottle? Here are a few ideas:

  • Simply diffuse it at home, in the office, or in the classroom to chase away negativity and create a positive and pleasant atmosphere!

  • To wear the scent of Cheer with you all day, apply a drop of the synergy to the ends of your loose hair! It's a great way to keep the smell close all day long!

  • Place 2-3 drops on a cotton ball that you'll attach to your car's air vent with a wooden pin. It's a simple way to diffuse in your car during a long road trip.

  • When you feel lonely or negative emotions take over, put a drop in your hand and bring your hands to your face, in front of your nose, and take deep breaths. Massage your neck with what remains.

  • In diffusion on diffuser jewelry. It smells good and keeps the sun around you, even on grey and dull days!

  • Someone around you is going through a tough time and you want to bring a little joy and light into their daily life? Prepare them a sunshine box! Gather objects that will uplift them to include in the care kit. You can even make everything yellow, so that everything is bright and cheerful. You can include things like yellow candy, a yellow journal for them to write in, a yellow blanket or pillowcase, and of course, doTERRA Cheer labelled yellow.

  • Have fun creating a body sugar scrub with Cheer! Whether it's for you or as a gift, it's simple and adds a touch of light to your day!

What role does each of the oils play in the synergy?

  • Wild Orange essential oil invigorates the senses and helps fight discouragement and boredom. It is also said to evoke feelings of abundance and creativity.

  • Clove Bud is a warming spice oil that encourages feelings of confidence and emotional balance. Like other spices, clove essential oil can dispel dark and weak feelings.

  • Star Anise oil and Ginger oil also have powerful energizing properties.

  • The fresh, lemony aroma of Lemon has been a favorite worldwide. Diffusing lemon has been shown to improve mood and increase the sense of concentration.

  • Lemon Myrtle, Zdravetz Herb, and Vanilla Bean Extract are known for their calming benefits.

  • Nutmeg is believed to relieve stress, minimize the effects of fatigue, and improve concentration. The uplifting properties of nutmeg come from a high concentration of the monoterpene sabinene.

  • Finally, cinnamon bark oil adds a soothing element when applied topically.

However, special attention must be given when using citrus essential oils on the skin before sun exposure. Most citrus essential oils are photosensitizing, meaning it is best to avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after application on uncovered areas.

On that beautiful note, I'm off to diffuse Cheer in the skoolie even though I just applied it to my wrists! Haha!

Happy discovering, lovely folks!
